I am particularly interested in SFX and character creation.Including styling, design of make up, headdresses and wigsand haircutting including male grooming for performance. Bespoke commissions are taken for all aspects of the clients/performers needs.

Prior to my HND in Specialist hair and make up I received a degree in Fine Art and have over 20 years experience within the visual arts as a mould maker, sculptor, painter, drafts women, project manager and public facilitator. I have a comprehensive knowledge both practically and technically in a wide variety of art forms which has given me an excellent base to begin my career as a make up artist. I have also been a practising hairdresser, worked in prosthetic sculpting and mould making, created props for TV, film and commercials and worked with many circus artists creating body painting and make up.

My past experience has allowed me to explore all aspects of make up with great detail both technically and theoretically. I am especially interested in character creation, SFX, hand crafted headdresses and styling of photographic shoots. My ability to create photorealism allows me to create SFX and character creation with precision and attention to detail.

I am a hard working determined, lateral thinking, committed problem-solver who thrives in situations where I'm challenged creatively.

My experience has enabled me to acquire excellent people skills making me a great team player who always hits a deadline on time whist staying extremely calm under pressure.
